Our Story

Flackers Organic Flax Seed Crackers were originally developed in Minneapolis by a doctor in Minneapolis as a healthy snack for gluten-free patients. After gaining notoriety within the gluten free community, Flackers made their grocery store debut in 2008 and can now be found in over 2500 stores nationwide. More than decade later, Co-founder and CEO Donn Kelly remains dedicated to crafting nutrient-rich, plant-based snacks that make it easier for everyone to live the healthy lifestyle they deserve.

Proper receiving and labeling procedures and a formal validation and verification program are used to manage all materials coming in and out of the facility. Our packaging states: Manufactured on shared equipment that also processes tree nuts and sesame. Dr In The Kitchen and it's manufacturing partners, utilize a full allergen sanitation, testing and verification program to ensure all traces of known allergens are removed from any shared equipment. Post allergen swabbing is conducted and documented to ensure no traces of allergen proteins are present before every production of our non-allergen products.
